Privacy policy
Effective from October 11, 2026
Arnoldek helps you plan and log your training, and for that it needs some information about you. Here is, in plain words, what that is, what we use it for and what rights you have.
Who processes your data
The controller of your personal data is the operator of the Arnoldek service (arnoldek.com). For anything about your data, write to us at privacy@arnoldek.com.
What data we process
- Account: the email address you sign in with.
- Profile: details you fill in yourself so your plan fits you, such as date of birth, sex, height, weight, goal, activity level, training days, equipment and app settings.
- Training: plans, completed sets, weights and other records created in the app.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and sign-in records that arise from running the website.
- Measurement: we measure visits to public pages by signed-out visitors using Google Analytics. We also measure clicks to Berticka from the homepage, footer and guide: link placement, page language and the known destination page without URL parameters or fragments. Google receives no email, account identifier, private pages, URL parameters or training data.
What we use it for
- Running your account and training plans, including the emails needed to sign in. Without this we cannot provide the service (performance of a contract).
- Body and training data is yours to enter, and we use it only to build your plan and statistics. By entering it you consent to that; you can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting it or closing your account.
- Security and operations: protection against abuse and fixing errors (legitimate interest).
- Measuring visits to the public website, so we know which public pages people use and where they follow links to Berticka. Advertising measurement and conversions are disabled.
Who we entrust it to
We do not sell your data. Trusted providers help us with it and process it only on our instructions:
- database and sign-in (Cloudflare D1 and Durable Objects),
- website delivery and attack protection (Cloudflare),
- sign-in email delivery (Resend),
- public website measurement (Google Analytics), only for signed-out visits to public pages.
When you connect another service yourself, such as a calendar subscription to your workouts or another app linked to your account, that service receives only the data it needs for it.
Some providers may process data outside the EU, and only with the safeguards GDPR requires (such as standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. After you close it, we delete or anonymize your data without undue delay unless the law requires us to keep it. It may remain in backups for a short while until they are overwritten. Measurement data is deleted according to the settings of the Google tools.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and take it with you, the right to object and the right to withdraw consent. You can change most of your data yourself in the app settings; for everything else, including closing your account, write to us at privacy@arnoldek.com.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can turn to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or to the supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices; the app does not work without it. Google Analytics cookies start automatically for signed-out visitors on public pages, without a banner. Advertising storage, personalization and sending user data for advertising are disabled.
Changes
When the way we process data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
